Defenders Action Fund endorses Rep. Jane Harman
Exemplary voting record proves Harman's commitment to protecting air, land, water and wildlife

WASHINGTON - Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund today announced its endorsement of US Rep. Jane Harman, running for re-election in California's 36th Congressional District. Rep. Harman scored 100% on the 2010 Defenders Action Fund Conservation Report Card, with a lifetime score of 98%.

"Rep. Jane Harman's voting record is testament to her consistent support of protections for America's air, land, water and wildlife," said Defenders Action Fund President Rodger Schlickeisen. "Through her leadership on the House Energy and Commerce Committee she has shown time and again her commitment to protecting our nation's precious resources for future generations and we are proud to offer her our endorsement today."

Defenders Action Fund first released its annual Conservation Report Card in 2004 and has been scoring the conservation votes of every Member of Congress each year since. Defenders Action Fund expects to release more endorsements, including for the House, in the weeks ahead.
